The value of a trade show product to businesses exhibiting at an event is that people are reminded of the business every time they see it. Even if the person is not consciously aware that your business is being reinforced. It can provide a reminder of how to get in contact with a phone number or web site printed on it. One more thing that can be added is making the transfer personalized. Why throw all the pens in a punchbowl? Deliver them by hand and with a joke. Makes them more likely to be taken home.

Too many times a business looks for a magic bullet that costs next to nothing. No such item exists. Of course, a business can spend some huge dollars to have expensive trade show products that score big. Most businesses cannot afford such a feat, so creativity and planning has to be the order of the day. However, there are a lot of products available that can be had relatively cheaply.
